In choosing a wheelchair, let me just add that you want to be sure that you pick the correctly sized wheelchair for your body weight.

If you alre looking at Invacare Pronto wheelchairs for example, the Invacare Pronto M71 can support body weights to 300 lbs while the M91 can support much larger people.

But the bigger wheelchairs also use bigger batteries that are much more costly to replace. You may get the wheelchair at little or no cost but eventually you will need replacement scooter batteires and the mid capcacity wheelchair regradless of maker may suit you best.

Pick the correct one and you will gain many years of reliable use.

I wonder if the TTC repaired the Yonge Bloor subway elevator to the north bound Yonge subway which has been down for 3-4 weeks. Not repairing equipment particularly elevators and escalators in a timely fashion is a contributing factor to the lack of accessibility on the TTC.

The wheel chairs are boons for disabled people.If they want to go somewhere then they tend to think that the can cause problems to their children.But the motorized wheel chairs have made it possible for the disabled people to visit different places without much trouble to their children.The children must make arrangements in their homes so that they can easily move in home with the wheel chair without anybody’s help.The light weight & curtain doors are welcomed to ease their problems.
I believe that their path must be clear of any obstacles like carpet or chairs in the home.These human wheel chairs have given new ray of hope to the disabled people that they can still site the world.

My old man is in a wheel chair and I’ve been trying to find a place that has advice for renovating his house. I never would have thought about a small view window, but it makes perfect sense!
