Toyota has released an electric wheelchair with the supposed claim that it’s the most expensive wheelchair ever manufactured. You can watch a video of it at the bottom of this article.

The wheelchair, which is motorized, seems to function properly although it doesn’t seem to be expensive for practical reasons; instead, it likely has a high price tag because of all of the tacky accessories that have been added onto it. The wheelchair boasts hydraulics and a trippy, mesmerizing plate but if there are any other features which would actually justify the machine besides being costly just for the sake of renown, I’m not sure how popular the model might be.

I suppose that nowadays people can be proud of any hi-tech gadget that leaves a big gaping hole in their wallet. We’ve seen tricked out vehicles before in the past so why not wheelchairs, too? Again, however, as a machine that’s intended for people who are disabled, I don’t know how many people are going to be lining up to purchase one of these babies (not to mention it’s a god-awful colour). If you feel as though you aren’t earning enough renown for the wheelchair that you currently own, feel free to upgrade to this wheelchair that Toyota’s demonstrated (or attach spinning rims to the wheelchair that you already possess).
